Environment Southland advises the following river information as at 16:00:10 today
The Mataura River at Pyramid was 0.23 metres above normal and rising 201 mm/hour
The Waikaia River at Piano Flat was 2.05 metres above normal and rising 88 mm/hour
at Mahers beach was 1.63 metres above normal and rising 200 mm/hour
The Waikaka Stream at Willowbank was 0.54 metres above normal and rising 224 mm/hour
The Oreti River at Lumsden Cableway was 2.03 metres above normal and rising 378 mm/hour
The Irthing Stream at Ellis Road was 1.97 metres above normal and rising 287 mm/hour
The Otapiri Stream at Otapiri Gorge was 1.13 metres above normal and rising 241 mm/hour
The Aparima River at Etalvale was 0.84 metres above normal and rising 355 mm/hour
Sites not displayed are currently not in a flood alert status
