Brucie’s Buddies Bulletin is changing!

Hello Buddies,

As a member of Brucie’s Buddies Club, you’ve been receiving four bulletins a year in the mail, addressed personally to you. The first one gets sent out in the summer, and we end the year with a Christmas edition. Well, we’re going to be keeping in touch with you a little differently this year!

You’ll still receive your own bulletin twice a year, a birthday greeting from me and of course an invitation to my party, but in between times you will notice a few changes!

The next Brucie’s Buddies Bulletin is going to be inside Envirosouth. Envirosouth is the official magazine of Environment Southland and is delivered to all houses in Southland. It will be coming to your letterbox in June.

The bulletin will alternate between coming in the mail to you and being in Envirosouth and going to all houses. That means that after this Envirosouth, the following bulletin will be mailed to you. It will still have news, articles and activities, and of course pictures of myself and my buddies.

The bulletin will be a little shorter in Envirosouth, but that’s because we’re putting more things here on the website. Soon you’ll find quizzes and competitions on there, (open for buddies only) so keep checking in.

The first time the bulletin goes into Envirosouth, there’ll be an article especially for people who’ve never met me before, just to introduce myself and tell people about my club. I’m sure you’ll be able to tell people about me too!

Look forward to catching up with you,

Brucie

Brucie's Birthday

Did you make it to Brucie's latest birthday bash? This year the party was held at Daffodil Bay, near Invercargill and although the rain came down (and got Brucie's feathers a bit wet) he had heaps of fun and hopes all of his buddies that came along did too.

Here's a few pictures taken on the day, and to find a whole lot more you can visit the Environment Southland Facebook page.

Great information on how to help the environment

Recently Brucie received an email from a class in the United States. They’d been onto Brucie’s page, and suggested some links to websites that they like, hoping you might like them too.

There’s a huge variety of topics and activities on The Water Page that can be found by clicking this link www.thewaterpage.com.
And the Pacific Lutheran University, which is in a place called Washington in the United States, has ideas to reduce our ‘footprint’ on the planet on the Great Ways to Go Green page.
