Rainfall totals recorded on Environment Southland's raingauge network in the past week ranged from 7.5 mm at Mt Hamilton to 28.5 mm at Woodlands
Coastal Southland had 28.5 mm at Woodlands
Western Southland had 9 mm at Clifden
Northern Southland had 8 mm at Five Rivers and 8.5 mm at Cainard
North-western Southland had 18.5 mm at Gorge Burn and 7.5 mm at Mt Hamilton
North-eastern Southland had 12.5 mm at Piano Flat and 9.5 mm at Waikaka
Central Southland had 14 mm at Lora Station
River Flows
The upper Mataura River at Parawa was 50% below the long term average for July
The lower Mataura River at Seaward Downs was 59% below average.
The upper Oreti River at Lumsden was 35% below average.
The lower Oreti River at Wallacetown was 64% below average.
The Aparima River at Dunrobin was 62% below average.
