Rainfall totals recorded on Environment Southland's raingauge network in the past week ranged from 2.5 mm at Five Rivers to 10.5 mm at Woodlands

Coastal Southland had 10.5 mm at Woodlands
Western Southland had 5.5 mm at Clifden
Northern Southland had 2.5 mm at Five Rivers and 3.5 mm at Cainard
North-western Southland had 5.5 mm at Gorge Burn and 7 mm at Mt Hamilton
North-eastern Southland had 3 mm at Piano Flat and 2.5 mm at Waikaka
Central Southland had 3.5 mm at Lora Station


River Flows
The upper Mataura River at Parawa was 10% below the long term average for November
The lower Mataura River at Seaward Downs was 2% above average.
The upper Oreti River at Lumsden was 11% below average.
The lower Oreti River at Wallacetown was 35% below average.
The Aparima River at Dunrobin was 19% below average.
