2009

Southland's environmental achievers were honoured at the region's fourteenth community Environment Awards on 1st July 2009.

The awards are organised by Environment Southland and acknowledge the huge amount of good work being done – often behind the scenes – to safeguard and enhance Southland's environment. Awards are given in eight categories and attracted a record 22 nominations this year.
