Southland's environmental achievers were honoured at the region's 15th community environment awards on 21 July 2010.
The awards are organised by Environment Southland and acknowledge the huge amount of good work being done – often behind the scenes and voluntarily – to safeguard and enhance Southland’s environment. The awards are given in nine categories and attracted 25 nominations this year.
