Amendment to Water Plan

Pursuant to section 55(2A) Resource Management Act 1991, notice is given that the Regional Water Plan for Southland is amended to insert two new policies for resource consent decision-making as directed by the National Policy Statement for Freshwater Management 2011. The new policies will apply to resource consent decision-making for activities relating to the use of, and effects on, freshwater. The new policies are set out in Policy A4 and Policy B7 of the National Policy Statement. The amendments are required to be made without using the public submission process under the Act.

Replacement pages will be sent to anyone recorded as holding a copy of the operative plan.
