Public Notice of Decisions on Submissions on Plan Change 1 (Farm Dairy Effluent)

Pursuant to clause 10, First Schedule to the Resource Management Act 1991, Environment Southland gives public notice of the fact that it has made its decisions on submissions and further submissions lodged to Plan Change 1 (Farm Dairy Effluent) to the Regional Water Plan for Southland.
Notice of the decisions has been served on all persons who made submissions and further submissions. Copies of the decisions are available at:
- public libraries within the region – Invercargill, Bluff, Gore, Mataura, Lumsden, Otautau, Nightcaps, Riverton, Stewart Island, Te Anau, Waiau, Winton and Wyndham;
- Environment Southland’s offices on the corner of North Road and Price Street, Waikiwi;
- the offices of the Invercargill City Council, 101 Esk Street, Invercargill;
- the offices of the Southland District Council, 15 Forth Street, Invercargill;
- the offices of the Gore District Council, 29 Civic Avenue, Gore.

The Regional Water Plan for Southland is deemed to have been amended in accordance with the decisions from the date of this public notice.
Pursuant to Clause 14 of the First Schedule, Policies 42, 42A, 43 and Rule 50 will become operative if no application for appeal is lodged within 30 working days of the service of this notice.
