RMA Application - M W & B Black

Public notice is hereby given pursuant to S.95A Resource Management Act 1991 that the following application for resource consent have been received by Environment Southland.
M W & B Black - Discharge and Water Permit Application B311-001
Discharge Permit - to replace an existing discharge permit to discharge effluent to land from up to 1,050 cows. The proposal is a discretionary activity under Rule 5.4.6 of the Regional Effluent Land Application Plan for Southland.
Water Permit - to replace an existing water permit to take up to 126,000 litres of groundwater from two bores. The proposal is a discretionary activity under Rule 23(d)(ii) of the Regional Water Plan for Southland.
Purpose: Dairy Farming Operation.
Location: Edendale Woodlands Highway, Dacre at about NZMS 260 F46:752-232.

Submissions on the above applications must be received by Environment Southland no later than the end of working hours on Monday, 16 January 2012. A submission form is available from Environment Southland. Submissions may also be forwarded by email toservice@es.govt.nz
Submissions must be dated and signed (unless forwarded electronically) and must include the following information:
- your name, postal address and telephone number (and fax number if applicable);
- details of the application in respect of which you are making the submission;
- whether it is in support of, or in opposition to the application, or is neutral;
- your submissions, with reasons;
- the decision that you wish Council to make; and
- whether you wish to be heard in support of your submission
and you must serve a copy of your submission on the applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.
