Public notice is hereby given pursuant to S.95A Resource Management Act 1991 that the following application for resource consents has been received by Environment Southland.
White Waters Limited, Kakapo Road, Te Anau - Discharge Permit and Land Use Consent Application W080-003
The application is for resource consents to:
- discharge effluent from a dairy shed servicing up to 599 cows to land using a slurry tanker. The discharge is a controlled activity in accordance with Rule 5.4.5 of the Regional Effluent Land Application Plan for Southland.
- construct a 1,500 m³ agricultural effluent pond for the storage of dairy shed effluent. The construction is a restricted discretionary activity in accordance with Rule 49(a) of the Regional Water Plan for Southland.
Location: 893 Kakapo Road, Te Anau. The property is west of the corner of Kakapo Road and Dale Road, approximately 11 km east of Te Anau, at about New Zealand Map Grid co-ordinates 2108300 E, 5525500 N.

and you must serve a copy of your submission on the applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.
