Farming/climate change: seminar

Climate change and its impactson Southland’s environment and rural industries will be discussed by two of New Zealand’s leading commentators at a public seminar at the Invercargill Working Men’s Club on Thursday 27th October
from 1.30pm.
Climate change scientist Dr Jim Salinger and financial journalist Rod Oram are travelling around New Zealand giving a series of presentations.
Rod Oram will talk on emissions trading and compare New Zealand’s climate change targets with our trading partners’ targets, and what it means for agricultural trade.
